2020 NORDIC VORTEX TRI-GUN
The 2020 Nordic Components & Vortex Optics Tri-Gun presented by the Minnesota 3Gun Group will be held on June 19th-21st, 2020. The 3 day match will feature 9 exciting and challenging stages. Match slots will remain limited so we could maintain the same quality match (and generous prize table). The match reached full capacity with a waiting list since its inception, with last year’s match filling within 1 minute and 13 seconds of opening. It will likely fill fast again so plan accordingly to get your best chances of getting in.
In the past years, we’ve done early registrations for shooters who have shot the match the past 3 consecutive years. It was meant to be exclusive for the dedicated shooters. Unfortunately, we can no longer sustain that early registration requirement as the number of shooters that qualifies for it jumped significantly after the last match and would take up more than half of the available slots. That means a significant increase of others not getting into the match. Therefore, we are changing the requirement for early registrations beginning in the 2020 match to keep it more aligned to the exclusiveness it was meant to be.
The 1st Phase of Early registrations will be for shooters that have shot the match EACH year since the inception of the Nordic Vortex Tri-Gun in 2016 (4 years straight). There are a limited amount of shooters who qualify and they will receive their private early registration invitations through email in early January. This 1st phase of registration will only be open for a limited time.
The 2nd Phase of Early Registrations will be for the Heavy Division shooters only. We are proud to be one of a very few matches (if not the only one left) with BOTH Heavy Optic and Heavy Limited Divisions. There will only be 30 slots open for this registration, and it will only be open for 3 days starting Sunday February 2nd at noon and closing on February 5th at noon. Shooters who sign up during this time MUST remain in the Heavy Divisions and CANNOT switch to Tactical Optic, Tactical Limited, or Open Divisions without withdrawing from the match and re-registering. If there is a waitlist, that shooter will have to go on it.
General Registrations will open up on Thursday, February 6th at 8PM Central Time. This will be strictly 1st come 1st serve. Once the match fills, a waiting list will automatically be started and will be based on the order you registered.
Registration will be done through Practiscore Match Managament. Please keep in mind that you have to be a registered user of Practiscore (free of charge) to be able to sign up for the match, so plan ahead. Once you’re a registered Practiscore user, you can then register for the match.
Upon registering for the match, you will receive an automated email confirming your registration. Once the match fills, a waiting list will automatically be started and will be based on the order you registered. If you are waitlisted, your automated email will say you are waitlisted.
The match fee is $285 for adults and $145 for juniors (17 or younger at match date). Included with the match fee is a match t-shirt and 3 lunch tickets. There are two payment options available:
1) ON-LINE using a debit/credit card with additional usage fee. Adult match fee is $285 plus $8.85 usage fee for a total of $293.85. Junior fee is $145 plus $4.65 usage fee for a total of $149.65. Unfortunately, the system only allows us to charge one fee so it will be the adult fee. If a junior is registered and paid the adult fee on-line, send a message to Jomar.MN3GG@gmail.com and we will refund the difference.
2) MAIL-IN by printing this email and mailing it with your match fee payment of $285 ($145 for juniors). Please make the check payable to “MN3GG” and mail to:

PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF THE DATE YOU REGISTERED, or your registration will be rotated to the rear of the waiting list. Self-Squadding for approved shooters will open at a later date to be announced.
